Remembrance Parade 2018

Today people around the world have been marking remembrance day, a century on from the guns falling silent over Europe. This is a day to remember the fallen, not just from the Great War, but all conflicts around the world.

1114 (Gosforth) have been to our local Cenotaph to pay our respects for those who gave us our tomorrow by giving their today.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years contemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.

1114 (Gosforth) Squadron aims to provide young people from the local area with a wide range of opportunities and experiences such as flying, gliding, adventure training, and target shooting which lead them towards gaining life long skills and recognised awards such as BTEC qualifications and the Duke of Edinburgh Award. To find out how you could get involved visit 1114squadron.co.uk or email 1114@aircadets.org.
